The 2026 Bristol International Balloon Fiesta was one of the most successful in the event’s history.
The 48th fiesta, in partnership with accounting and financial planning firm Albert Goodman, drew an estimated 300,000 spectators to Ashton Court Estate to experience five stunning mass ascents, almost 400 balloon flights, two Nightglows and three world record attempts.
More than 120 hot air balloons were registered by teams from around the world, including 20 special shapes.
Ben Hardy, executive director, commented: “It has been an exceptional year for flying, for partnerships, for public support and for the stars of show the balloonists. The magic they bring to this field and carry across the city is hard to express.”
