Lloyds Bank is to close its branch on Queens Road, in The Triangle, Clifton, on May 21.
In a letter to customers the bank says: “Before we close any branch we look at how customers are managing their money and using the branch.”
The bank says that most customers are now using its Mobile Banking App, Internet Banking or calling it instead. Lloyds say because of this customers are using branches much less and as a result the Clifton branch will close.
The nearest Lloyds branch to Clifton is at High Street, Westbury-on-Trym.
