St John’s Primary School in Clifton opened its doors to families and members of the local community for this year’s West Bristol Arts Trail, which was a celebration of creativity and imagination. The event transformed the school into a colourful space, filled with artwork that reflected the skill and individuality of pupils from every year group.
Headteacher Justin Hoye said, “A huge thank you to everyone who joined us. It was such a joy to welcome families and members of the local community into the school to celebrate the children’s creativity and hard work.”
Pupils explored a variety of artists, techniques and themes, culminating in an impressive display of work.
A highlight of the day was the ‘A Room with a View’ competition, which drew a fantastic range of creative entries. Winning and highly commended pieces can be viewed on the St John’s website, and the Year 5 and 6 entries will soon go on to represent the school in an external competition at Badminton School.
