One of Clifton’s oldest residents celebrates her centenary on November 24.
Miss Phyllis Farmer is a Bristolian who has lived in the same house in College Road since she was six years old.
After the Second World War she worked for the Ministry of Agriculture travelling around the country advising farmers on the nutrition of their dairy herds.
She is looked after by staff from Clifton Care Company. One of them said that Miss Farmer was ”as bright as a pin”.
