CLIFTON College is celebrating the success of its A-level and BTEC students in 2025. Commitment and perseverance has paid off and students are excited for their next steps.
Avik, who joined Clifton College in the nursery, achieved three A*s in Biology, Chemistry and Maths and got into his first choice of university, UCL, to study medicine. He praised his teachers for excellent support, even through study leave and will miss spending time with friends.
Luca, who also joined in the nursery, secured two A*s and one A in History, Economics and Politics and will be going on to study International Relations at King’s College, London.
Nicole obtained three A*s in Chemistry, Biology, and Maths, as well as an A* in her self-selected EPQ. She will be starting at her first-choice university, Imperial College London, this September to read Medicine.
Fenella and Megan both achieved double distinction in their Sport BTEC along with an additional A-level each, with Megan also completing an EPQ. Fenella will be going to Exeter University to study Ancient History and Megan to Newcastle University to study a BSC in Business Management and Marketing.
Mark achieved the grades to secure his place at Cambridge University to study Law and will be moving there soon to settle in before university begins. Clifton leavers are taking up places not just in the UK, but also at overseas universities such as NYU, University of California San Diego, Bocconi and University of Hong Kong.
Dr Gavin Turner, deputy head academic, said “We are thrilled to celebrate the achievements of our A-level and BTEC pupils, whose results reflect not only academic excellence but also the maturity and perseverance they have shown throughout their sixth form journey.
“These outcomes are the culmination of two years of focused study, intellectual exploration, and personal growth. They have risen to the challenge with determination and ambition.”
